Following soon after yesterday’s news that a number of the first few successful applicants for Canadian immigration through the Express Entry immigration selection system have obtained permanent resident status, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has performed its seventh, and latest, draw from the Express Entry pool. >>Read More

Candidates with 453 or more CRS points selected in eighth Express Entry draw for Canadian immigration

The eighth, and latest, draw from the Express Entry pool was performed by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) during the period beginning on April 17, 2015 and ending on April 18, 2015. 715 invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence were issued to candidates in the pool who each had 453 or more Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points. >>Read More

Quebec And Federal Governments At Odds Over Changes To Temporary Foreign Worker Program

The government of Quebec, led by Liberal Premier Philippe Couillard, has stated its opposition to imminent changes to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) that are scheduled to come into effect next week on April 30. >>Read More
