• BC Invites 377 Workers and Graduates to Immigrate in March 8 BC PNP Draw

A total of 377 candidates for immigration to British Columbia, Canada have been invited to apply to the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) in a draw that took place on March 8. This is the third such draw to have taken place in the last three weeks, with other candidates having been invited to apply on February 17 and February 23, respectively. >>Read More

• Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program is Launched

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) — a new three-year pilot program for immigration to Atlantic Canada — was launched on March 6, 2017. Up to 2,000 new applications to this employer-driven program will be processed in 2017, and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) aims to process 80 percent of complete applications in six months or less. >>Read More

• Investments in Higher Education Across Canada Expected to Improve Infrastructure and Research

• Latest Express Entry Draw sees CRS Requirement Drop to 434

On March 1, 2017, 3,884 Invitations to Apply (ITA) were issued to candidates in the pool for the Express Entry immigration selection system with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) point score of 434 or above. For the third time in a row, the number of CRS points a candidate requires to receive an ITA has dropped to a level never before seen since the introduction of the Express Entry immigration selection system in January, 2015. >>Read More
