• Mon Projet Québec: New Date Announced for Beginning of Submission Period for Skilled Immigration to Quebec, Canada

The government of Quebec has announced that the upcoming application intake period for the Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) has been postponed. This decision was taken in response to technical issues experienced by potential applicants through the new Mon projet Québec online application system, which was launched last week. >>Read More

• Third Express Entry Draw This Month Sees 1,468 Candidates Invited to Apply for Immigration to Canada

The latest draw from the Express Entry pool, and the 26th since the immigration selection system was launched just over a year ago, took place on January 28, 2016. A total of 1,468 Invitations To Apply (ITAs) for Canadian permanent residence were issued to candidates with 457 or more Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points.  >>Read More

Alberta has reopened itsAlberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) or new applications. The AINP is one of Canada’s Provincial Nominee Programs, which allow provinces such as Alberta to nominate individuals for permanent immigration to Canada. >>Read More

• B.C. Announces New Skilled Immigration System to Meet Economic Needs

The Canadian province of British Columbia (B.C.) has announced that is implementing a new Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) for the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), one of Canada's Provincial Nominee Programs. The government of B.C. stated that SIRS is aligned with British Columbia's labour market and economic development priorities. >>Read More

• Quebec Skilled Worker Candidates Have Less Than Three Weeks Left Before They May Submit Applications

Candidates who successfully created an account under the Mon projet Québec online system, through which applications to immigrate to Canada under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program must be made, may submit an application for a Quebec Selection Certificate/certificat de selection du Québec (CSQ) as of February 16, 2016.
