Canada reveals how extended family, compassionate travellers can apply for travel exemptions The federal government has released entry requirements for extended family members and people travelling to Canada for compassionate reasons.

Details have been released on Canada’s definition of extended family members, requirements for compassionate travellers to get exempt, and how to get limited release from quarantine.

Canada extends online processing of temporary visas, eTAs, adds exemptions IRCC will continue to process applications for temporary resident visas and eTAs as well as other documents submitted online until January 31, 2021.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced that the processing of online temporary resident visa (TRV) applications and electronic travel authorizations (eTAs) will continue into the new year.
