About the streams

The Alberta Opportunity Stream accounted for the vast majority of invites seen in this round (900). This stream is for temporary foreign workers employed full-time in Alberta with a qualifying full-time job offer from an eligible Alberta employer.

The Dedicated Health Care Pathway is intended for qualified individuals with job offers in eligible health care professions.

The Alberta Express Entry Stream – Law Enforcement Pathway is for candidates with job offers from Alberta Association of Chiefs of Police members. This pathway was launched last year to help local police services meet recruitment objectives.

Finally, the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors (Construction) pathway is for qualified professionals in the construction industry who listed an eligible occupation as their primary occupation in their Express Entry profile and may have an Alberta job offer in this industry.
