The province held a draw on June 3, 2025, and focused on immigration candidates who had job offers from Alberta employers in the health care sector.

A total of 36 invitations were issued to health care professionals.

This latest draw, conducted through Alberta's Express Entry-aligned Dedicated Health Care Pathway, represents the sixth of its kind this year.

The minimum score candidates must have had to receive an invitation was 60.

All health care professionals were required to demonstrate an intent to reside and work in Alberta.

Provincial nomination figures

Alberta received 4,875 slots for its 2025 nomination allocation. To date, 2,276 provincial nominations have been issued through its various immigration streams and pathways.

On its official webpage, the AAIP features data related to each respective pathway, including

  • The number of nominations to be issued;
  • The number of nominations already issued;
  • The number of nomination spaces still remaining; and
  • The number of Expressions of Interest (EOIs) currently in the selection pool.

When it comes to data pertaining to the province’s Dedicated Health Care Pathways (Express Entry and non-Express Entry), the above-mentioned information is combined—meaning that both pathways are taken into account.

At the time of writing, these are the numbers for Alberta’s Dedicated Health Care Pathways.
