Q & A: CCPE Definition?

CIC News
Published: September 1, 1998

Q. Does anyone have CCPE's definition for Chemical Engineers or know where to find it?

Answer: The CCPE is not responsible for the definition of occupations for the purpose of evaluation of eligibility for immigration to Canada. The CCPE simply evaluates engineering education for consistency with Canadian labour market requirements. The individual should refer to the National Occupational Classification (NOC) for such definitions.
