Travellers to Canada will now need a negative COVID-19 test The test will not replace the 14-day quarantine requirement.

Canada will require arriving travellers to obtain a negative COVID-19 test three days before arriving. The test must be a PCR test, which is currently considered the most effective coronavirus test. This policy will go into effect on January 7, 2021.

Quebec suspends CAQ applications from 10 designated learning institutions CAQ applications are suspended for institutions that are being audited or investigated by the Quebec Ministry of Higher Education.

Quebec’s Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration (MIFI) will not accept new Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) applications from students going to the 10 designated learning institutions (DLIs) that are under investigation starting December 30.
