Four provinces invite candidates for provincial immigration in latest draws

British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and Prince Edward Island have invited candidates for provincial immigration this week.

Alberta

Between November 29 and December 17, Alberta held 15 draws across multiple streams.

Overall, over 1,700 candidates were issued invitations to apply, with different minimum scores.

British Columbia

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) held selections under its Entrepreneur Base and Regional streams on December 17.

At least 11 invitations to apply (ITAs) were issued altogether, with different cutoff scores for each stream.

Manitoba

On December 18, the Manitoba PNP (MPNP), held draws under two streams.

The first took place under the International Education stream, with 297 letters of advice to apply issued to those who met eligibility criteria under this stream.

The second draw took place under the Skilled Worker Overseas stream and invited 102 candidates who had a minimum score of 630.

Overall, 399 Letters of Advice to Apply were issued, with 43 issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

Prince Edward Island

On December 16, the PEI PNP held draws under the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur stream and the Labour and Express Entry stream.

32 candidates were invited under the Labour and Express Entry stream. 

Only one candidate was invited under the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur stream, with the minimum point threshold being 125.
