The Government of New Brunswick issued invitations to provincial immigration candidates in a series of draws conducted between March 3 and March 6, 2026.
Invitations were issued across three NBPNP streams (with draws under some streams featuring multiple pathways), as well as through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP), targeting candidates with experience in several priority sectors.

New Brunswick issued a total of 622 invitations across its immigration programs in the latest round of selections.
Candidates were invited through the New Brunswick AIP and the following NBPNP streams:
- New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream;
- New Brunswick Strategic Initiative Stream; and
- New Brunswick Express Entry Stream.
The cut-off date and time for all Expressions of Interest (EOIs) chosen under these draws was March 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time (AST).
New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream
Candidates were invited through two pathways of the Skilled Worker Stream:
- The New Brunswick Experience pathway; and
- The New Brunswick Graduates pathway.
Candidates were also prioritized based on the occupational category in which their profession fit in.
Of the 622 invitations issued in this selection round, approximately 45% were issued under the Skilled Worker Stream, making it the largest selection category across this series of draws.

The New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream is designed for foreign nationals who have current employment with, or a job offer from, an eligible employer in New Brunswick.
Candidates invited through this stream must generally meet requirements such as:
- Having a full-time, non-seasonal job offer from a New Brunswick employer;
- Demonstrating the skills and experience needed for the role; and
- Meeting minimum language and settlement requirements.
New Brunswick Strategic Initiative Stream
Candidates were invited through two pathways of the Strategic Initiative Stream:
- Francophone Workers in New Brunswick; and
- New Brunswick Francophone Priorities.
Unlike other streams in this selection round, candidates from all occupational sectors were eligible to receive invitations under this stream.

The New Brunswick Strategic Initiative Stream targets French-speaking foreign nationals who have connections to the province and who can contribute to the growth of Francophone communities province-wide.

New Brunswick Express Entry Stream
A minority of invitations in these draws were issued through the Express Entry stream—just 4%.
Candidates were prioritized based on the occupational category that they worked in, with invited sectors largely mirroring those chosen for the Skilled Worker Stream.

The New Brunswick Express Entry Stream is aligned with the federal Express Entry system and is designed for skilled foreign nationals with an active Express Entry profile.
To qualify under the Employment in New Brunswick pathway, candidates typically must:
- Have lived in New Brunswick for at least 12 months;
- Be working full-time in a skilled, non-seasonal position for a New Brunswick employer; and
- Have accumulated at least 12 months of eligible work experience in the province.
Candidates who receive a provincial nomination through this stream obtain 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points, significantly increasing their chances of receiving an invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
Atlantic Immigration Program
Similar to other draws, candidates invited through the New Brunswick AIP were prioritized based on their occupations:

The AIP is an employer-driven pathway designed to help employers across Atlantic Canada hire skilled foreign workers and international graduates.
The program operates in four provinces:
- New Brunswick;
- Nova Scotia;
- Prince Edward Island; and
- Newfoundland and Labrador.
To qualify, candidates must:
- Receive a job offer from a designated employer in Atlantic Canada;
- Meet minimum language requirements (dependent on job offer TEER);
- Demonstrate relevant work experience (exemptions in place for certain international graduates);
- Demonstrate sufficient education (dependent on job offer TEER); and
- Obtain an endorsement from the province where they will work and settle.
