Invitations were issued through the New Brunswick Express Entry Stream and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).

To have been considered in the Express Entry stream draw, candidates must have submitted their Expression of Interest (EOI) before March 29, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time (AST).
To have been considered in the AIP draw, endorsement applications must have been submitted before March 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. AST.
These draws are the first in more than a month. For comparison, New Brunswick’s previous selection round — held between March 3 and 6 — issued 622 invitations across four streams, including the Skilled Worker Stream and Strategic Initiative Stream.
New Brunswick Express Entry Stream
The New Brunswick Express Entry Stream is aligned with the federal Express Entry system and is designed for skilled foreign nationals who already have an active Express Entry profile.
The Employment in New Brunswick pathway specifically targets candidates who are currently living and working full-time in New Brunswick in a skilled, non-seasonal position.
Candidates who receive a provincial nomination through this stream are awarded 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points, which effectively guarantees an invitation to apply for permanent residence (PR) through the federal Express Entry system.
Atlantic Immigration Program
The AIP is a federal-provincial employer-driven program that helps employers across Atlantic Canada hire skilled foreign workers and international graduates for positions they can’t fill locally.
Unlike the NBPNP, candidates don’t need a CRS score to qualify — they need a valid job offer from a New Brunswick employer designated by Immigration New Brunswick.
As of February 2026, New Brunswick moved its AIP to a candidate pool system, meaning endorsement applications are selected through scheduled draws based on provincial labour market priorities rather than on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications remain valid in the pool for 365 days from the date of submission.
Once endorsed by the province, candidates can apply directly to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for permanent residence.
