On June 4, 2026, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) invited foreign nationals to apply for provincial nomination through its Skilled Worker Stream.
Invitations were issued to individuals who declared being directly invited by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative.

This marks Manitoba’s 11th provincial immigration draw of 2026.
Draw details
A total of 104 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued to candidates with Expression of Interest profiles, through both pathways of the Skilled Worker Stream:
To be eligible for consideration, candidates were required to indicate in their Expression of Interest (EOI) profile that they had received an invitation through a recruitment mission, or the now-expired “Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective Provincial Nominee Program Candidates” (TPP).
The greatest share of LAAs were issued to MPNP candidates invited through the Employer Services initiative (38.5%), followed by the TPP (37.5%).
Here’s the breakdown of LAA distribution, by strategic recruitment initiative:
| Strategic recruitment initiative | LAAs issued |
|---|---|
| Employer Services | 40 |
| Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective Provincial Nominee Program Candidates (TPP) | 39 |
| Francophone Community | 17 |
| Ethnocultural Communities | 6 |
| Regional Communities | 2 |
Of the 104 LAAs issued in this draw, 15 went to those who declared a valid Express Entry number and job seeker validation code.
The province clarified that some MPNP candidates who appeared to meet the draw criteria may have been excluded from this round of LAA issuance for one of the following reasons:
- The candidate listed an approved third-party English or French language test in their EOI profile, but the test identification number was missing or invalid, or the language results had already expired; or
- The candidate said they had been invited under a strategic recruitment initiative, but did not provide a valid invitation number.
Manitoba has also indicated that TPP work permit holders whose Manitoba Support Letters were approved after June 30, 2025, may not have received an LAA yet, as the province is starting with support letters approved prior to that date.
As of June 4, the MPNP has sent out a total of 1,709 LAAs this year, all through its Skilled Worker Stream.
