New Brunswick (NB) invited 669 candidates through its provincial immigration programs in selection rounds that took place between June 3–June 4.

The invitations were issued under three streams of the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).

This selection round saw candidates invited through these three NBPNP streams: New Brunswick Skilled Worker, New Brunswick Strategic Initiative, and New Brunswick Express Entry.

The majority of invitations in this draw series were issued through the NBPNP (86.1%).

Skilled Worker Stream

On June 3, the province conducted two draws under its Skilled Worker Stream, inviting 381 candidates through two pathways:

  • New Brunswick Experience; and
  • New Brunswick Graduates.

Construction trade and health care professionals were targeted in both draws across both draws, with additional occupations prioritized under the New Brunswick Graduates pathway.

The cut-off date and time for these draws was June 2, 2026, and 11:59 p.m.

New Brunswick’s Skilled Worker Stream accounted for more than half (57%) of the total invitations issued in this series of draws.

The New Brunswick Experience pathway: targets individuals who are already living and working in the province for an eligible employer, with at least six months of full-time work experience with that employer.

The New Brunswick Graduates pathway: for international graduates of an in-province study program that is eligible for a post-graduation work permit, who are working full-time for an eligible provincial employer (or have accepted such an offer for such a position).

Strategic Initiative Stream

The province issued 146 invitations to apply (ITAs) through its Strategic Initiative Stream on June 3. Invitations were sent out through two pathways:

  • New Brunswick Francophone Priorities; and
  • Francophone Workers in New Brunswick.

New Brunswick targeted the same occupational categories across both draws held under the Strategic Initiative Stream.

Both draws featured a cut-off date and time of June 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. AST.

The New Brunswick Francophone Priorities pathway: targets French-speaking foreign nationals with priority connections to New Brunswick, such as New Brunswick francophone graduates of eligible post-secondary institutions (minimum one year in length) or candidates invited by Immigration New Brunswick.

The Francophone Workers in New Brunswick pathway: targets French-speaking foreign nationals who are working for an eligible provincial employer in a full-time position (or have such a job offer) and have either been living in-province for a minimum of six months or received their job offer through a special recruitment mission.

Express Entry Stream

On its only June 4 draw, the province extended 75 ITAs to NBPNP candidates under its Express Entry Stream.

Candidates were invited through the Employment in New Brunswick pathway, with five occupational categories selected:

  • Construction trades
  • Education, social and community services
  • Health care
  • Manufacturing
  • Professional and IT
  • Transportation

The cut-off date and time for this draw was June 3, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. AST.

The Employment in New Brunswick Pathway: targets Express Entry candidates who have lived in New Brunswick for at least 12 months and have been working full time in a TEER 0–3 position for a New Brunswick employer during that time.

Atlantic Immigration Program

On June 3, New Brunswick held a draw inviting 97 candidates with an Expression of Interest profile under the AIP.

Candidates working in the following occupational categories were selected:

  • Construction trades;
  • Education, social and community services;
  • Health care;
  • Manufacturing;
  • Other trades;
  • Professional and IT;
  • Sales and services; and
  • Transportation.

The cut-off date and time to have been considered was June 2, 2026, at 11:59 AST.

The AIP: an employer-led permanent residence pathway for foreign nationals with a job offer from a designated employer in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, or Prince Edward Island.

The offer must be endorsed by the province, and the applicant must also meet basic requirements for language, work experience, education, and settlement funds.
