Preparing for any test can be daunting, but our CELPIP experts have put together a wide range of resources to help you on your journey to work and live in Canada.

The CELPIP is one of two English language tests designated by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for Canadian immigration applicants. Whether you are looking to apply for Canadian citizenship or are looking to gain permanent residence through Express Entry, the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), or another economic class pathway, you can benefit from the following free resources.

Through these resources, you can learn about the skills and strategies needed to build your confidence, and help you become familiar with the format of the CELPIP test. From webinars, to YouTube videos, practice tests, and even our podcast, you’ll find the preparation help you need.

CELPIP Webinars

CELPIP Speaking Pro - Our most popular free webinar series, Speaking Pro features live and interactive lessons that will help you perform your best on the speaking portion of the CELPIP test. This session features information about what our raters listen for in your responses, as well as opportunities to analyze sample responses from past test takers, and to practice responding to speaking prompts. This webinar is available monthly, and past sessions are available on our YouTube channel.

CELPIP Listening Pro – In this free interactive session, you will learn about the listening component of CELPIP, gain valuable strategies for answering the listening questions, and get helpful tips for practicing your listening skills.

CELPIP Writing Pro – This session gives test takers focused preparation for the writing component of CELPIP, and gives you insight into how best to prepare, including helpful tips and strategies.

CELPIP Reading Pro – Learn about the format of the reading sections for the CELPIP test, and gain strategies for answering questions along with helpful skills to help you practice.

CELPIP Live – Each month, we host CELPIP Live, a YouTube livestream that gives you a chance to learn about life in Canada, learn about how to prepare for CELPIP, and meet and chat with our CELPIP experts and fellow test takers.

CELPIP Accelerate

When you create a free CELPIP account, you will receive CELPIP Accelerate Starter, a free online study program to help you prepare for your test. Accelerate starter includes over 5 hours of free videos, quizzes, and practice questions to help you get ready for CELPIP, and become comfortable with the format of the test.

From our CELPIP experts, our study tips videos feature strategies and advice that will help you build a study routine that you can follow daily, and help you prepare for your test with just a few minutes of your time.

Free Practice Tests

The free practice tests available to all CELPIP test takers will help you get familiar with the format of the test, and build your confidence with a computer-delivered test. The two complete practice tests available include instant results for the listening and reading components, along with approximate CELPIP level scores. The practice tests also include a complete set of sample test responses from real test takers, showing three performance levels. Additional practice tests are also available for purchase in our online store.

CELPIP Podcast

With 25 episodes and counting, the Official CELPIP Podcast is a great way to learn more about the CELPIP test, and to get helpful preparation tips. The podcast is available on all major podcasting platforms including Spotify and Apple Podcasts, as well as on our website.
