To support CAEL test takers in their Canadian academic journeys, we are pleased to host the CAEL Scholarship.

With CAEL now accepted for Student Direct Stream (SDS) applications, we are excited to help our test takers prepare for their tests.

We are pleased to offer a variety of free resources, including weekly free webinars, free practice tests, study tips, and more. Check out these free preparation resources and build your own study routine:

Weekly Webinars:

  • CAEL 101: Get The Facts - The CAEL 101: Get The Facts webinar is the perfect place to start your CAEL journey. This introductory session will help you become familiar with the test format, procedure, available study materials, and more.
  • CAEL 200 - These four sessions provide in-depth information about the speaking, writing, listening, and reading sections while also allowing you to learn more about the test format and get your questions answered by a CAEL expert.
  • CAEL 300 - These two sessions focus separately on the writing and speaking components of CAEL. These are our most component-focused webinars designed to provide valuable insight for test takers that need to focus on these components.

Free Practice Tests:

We have two free online sample tests available to help test takers get familiar with the format and content of the CAEL Test. These sample tests are a great place to start your CAEL preparation journey as they demonstrate the test format and question types, and highlight the skills you need to focus on.

Study Tips from CAEL Experts:

To help our test takers build a study routine and learn essential tips and strategies for the CAEL Test, we’ve put together these study tips videos. Each video features tips and strategies to help you build a study routine that you can follow every day, even just for a few minutes. All of our study tips have been put together by CAEL Experts and include information about other study resources available for free that you can use to prepare.

CAEL Scholarships:

To support CAEL test takers in their Canadian academic journeys, we are pleased to host the CAEL Scholarship. With a total of $10,000 CAD available to our scholarship winners, applying is easy and can be completed through your CAEL account.
