Draw results
The AAIP’s latest selection round saw candidates invited through the following streams and pathways:
- Alberta Opportunity Stream;
- Dedicated Health Care Pathway;
- Express Entry.
- Non-Express Entry.
- Alberta Express Entry Stream; and
- Law Enforcement Pathway.
- Accelerated Tech Pathway.
- Rural Renewal Stream.
Invitations were heavily concentrated in the Alberta Opportunity Stream, reinforcing a trend that has emerged in Alberta’s draws this year.
While the invitation totals differed across the six draws, the cutoff scores stayed within a two-point range:
| Draw date | Stream/pathway | Invitations issued | Minimum score |
|---|---|---|---|
| July 15, 2026 | Alberta Opportunity Stream | 833 | 53 |
| July 14, 2026 | Dedicated Health Care Pathway – non-Express Entry | 51 | 52 |
| July 10, 2026 | Alberta Express Entry Stream – Law Enforcement Pathway | <10 | 52 |
| July 8, 2026 | Alberta Express Entry Stream – Accelerated Tech Pathway | 149 | 55 |
| July 7, 2026 | Rural Renewal Stream | 42 | 55 |
| July 3, 2026 | Dedicated Health Care Pathway – Express Entry | 92 | 55 |

The July 3 draw targeting health care workers through Express Entry represents the largest of its kind in 2026 thus far.
According to published AAIP figures, the province has issued no less than 10,736 invitations to apply for provincial nomination over the course of 2026.
