New Immigrant Investor Program in the Works

Last Friday, May 23, Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander met with business leaders to begin formulating plans for a new federal immigrant investor program. The program will be known as the Immigrant Investor Venture Capital pilot. >>Read more

Permanent Labour Market Opinions to Replace Arranged Employment Opinions

Effective May 4, 2014, employers wishing to hire a foreign worker on a full-time, permanent basis must apply for and receive a positive Labour Market Opinion (LMO) instead of an Arranged Employment Opinion (AEO). >>Read more
