The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) has held six provincial immigration draws between February 6 and February 19, 2026, spanning multiple immigration streams.

Over this period, Alberta issued no less than 441 invitations through its:

  • Rural Renewal Stream;
  • Alberta Express Entry Stream – Accelerated Tech Pathway;
  • Alberta Express Entry Stream – Law Enforcement Pathway; and
  • Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors pathway (construction, manufacturing, and agriculture).

Draw details

The AAIP’s latest results show a busy mid-February stretch, with invitations spread across tech, rural immigration, and priority sector-focused selections.

Draw date Stream / pathway Minimum score Invitations issued
February 19, 2026 Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors (Construction) 61 50
February 17, 2026 Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors (Agriculture) 49 <10
February 12, 2026 Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors (Manufacturing) 50 32
February 11, 2026 Alberta Express Entry Stream – Accelerated Tech Pathway 59 147
February 10, 2026 Rural Renewal Stream 54 212
February 6, 2026 Alberta Express Entry Stream – Law Enforcement Pathway 50 <10

Notably, the above draws feature the first draw for manufacturing occupations under the Alberta Express Entry stream, after the sector was added as a priority for invitations in January of this year.

In addition, the February 10 Rural Renewal stream draw (the largest among those that took place in the last two weeks) is the first under the program since the AAIP tightened eligibility requirements effective January 1—requiring in-Canada candidates to have a valid work permit and limiting the number of annual community endorsements per designated community (in addition to imposing other restrictions).
