Canada invites 1,000 Canadian Experience Class candidates to apply for permanent residence

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued more invitations to apply (ITA) through the Express Entry system.

The immigration department issued 1,000 ITAs in a draw for Canadian Experience Class candidates.

To be considered in this draw, candidates needed to have:

• A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 523; and
• Created an Express Entry candidate profile before 10:13 a.m., Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on August 17, 2026.

This latest draw features the lowest number of invitations in a single CEC draw seen in 2026, as well as the highest cutoff score—by a solid five points.
