New Brunswick holds PNP draws

On June 16 and 17, the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) held four draws, inviting candidates through two immigration streams and four pathways.

This month has seen more NBPNP draws than any other in 2025 thus far.

To date in 2025, New Brunswick has invited 2,015 candidates through its PNP.

A total of 608 candidates received Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in New Brunswick’s back-to-back PNP draws.

Skilled Worker Stream

June 16 – New Brunswick Experience: To have received an invitation through this draw, candidates were required to have work permits expiring in either 2025 or in January or February of 2026.

This draw did not include Material Handlers falling under National Occupational Classification (NOC) code 75101.

June 16 & 17 – New Brunswick Graduates: Candidates were required to have a work permit set to expire in 2025 or in January or February of 2026.

Neither Chefs (NOC 62022) nor Material Handlers (NOC 75101) were included in this draw.

June 17 – New Brunswick Priority Occupations: No specific selection criteria or occupational exclusions were published for this draw.

The New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream is comprised of three pathways:

The New Brunswick Experience stream
The New Brunswick Graduates stream.
The New Brunswick Priority Occupations stream.

New Brunswick is not currently considering new Expressions of Interest (EOIs) through their Priority Occupations pathway and is instead processing previously submitted profiles.

Further, EOIs with a job or job offer falling under select NOC codes are not being considered—which you can view below.

Food counter attendants, kitchen helpers, and related occupations (NOC 65201);
Food service supervisors (NOC 62020);
Hotel front desk clerks (NOC 64314);
Labourers in fish and seafood (NOC 95107);
Labourers in food and beverage processing (NOC 95106);
Other customer representatives (NOC 64409);
Restaurant and food service managers (NOC 60030);
Retail and wholesale trade managers (NOC 60020);
Retail sales supervisors (NOC 62010);
Retail salespersons and visual merchandisers (NOC 64100); and
Shippers and receivers (NOC 14400).

EOIs remain in the New Brunswick Skilled Worker stream pool for 365 days.
