Between Oct. 8 and Oct. 21, Alberta held five draws—inviting candidates in tech, aviation, agriculture, and healthcare occupations:

  • 6 draws through the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors (Agriculture) pathway.

These draws align with Alberta’s priority sectors for 2025, released earlier this year. For the Alberta Express Entry Stream, priority sectors include construction, agriculture, and aviation.

The province of Alberta has said that it will be considering ITAs based on the above-mentioned priority sectors in addition to the three pathways within the Alberta Express Entry Stream:

  • Dedicated Healthcare Pathway;
  • Accelerated Tech Pathway; and
  • Law Enforcement Pathway.

The AAIP has conducted a total of 69 draws throughout 2025.
