First Express Entry draw of July sees lowest PNP cut-off score this year

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued more invitations to apply (ITA) through the Express Entry system.

The immigration department issued 534 ITAs in a draw for Provincial Nominee Program candidates.

To be considered in this draw, candidates needed to have:

  • A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 708; and
  • Created an Express Entry candidate profile before 2:49 p.m., Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on June 4, 2026.

As of the time of this writing, IRCC has conducted 35 Express Entry rounds in 2026. This latest cutoff is the lowest seen in a Provincial Nominee Program draw since November 25, 2025.

Express Entry draws held in 2026 to date have mostly focused on candidates already in Canada, specifically those with Canadian work experience or provincial nominations.
