Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued more invitations to apply (ITA) through the Express Entry system.
The immigration department issued 2,000 ITAs in a draw for Canadian Experience Class candidates.
To be considered in this draw, candidates needed to have:
- A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 518; and
- Created an Express Entry candidate profile before 8:48 p.m. Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on February 13, 2026.

Foreign nationals residing in Canada who have submitted a permanent residence application under Express Entry may also qualify for a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP).
In the case that a foreign national’s existing work permit expires before their BOWP submission is finalized, they can retain authorization to work under maintained status, subject to the conditions of their previous permit and provided they remain in Canada.
Eligible family members may also qualify for an open work permit.
