Canada’s most popular destination province for new immigrants, Ontario, has reopened its Human Capital Priorities immigration stream as of February 21, 2017. This stream, part of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), is only used to select candidates in Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC’s) Express Entry pool.
The stream was last open in early 2016, before the government of Ontario placed a temporary pause on several of its immigration streams, including the Human Capital Priorities Stream, on May 9 2016. [Read more…]
Many international graduates from publicly-funded universities in Ontario now have a further option for permanent immigration. The International Student — Masters Graduate and International Student — PhD Graduate streams of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) reopened on February 21, 2017. One of the most popular Canadian immigration streams aligned with the Express Entry selection system will reopen next week, with Ontario set to begin inviting candidates through the Human Capital Priorities Stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
The province of Saskatchewan continues to offer Express Entry candidates for immigration to Canada the opportunity to submit an application to its International Skilled Worker – Express Entry sub-category of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). The province of Prince Edward Island (PEI) has reopened the Express Entry stream of the PEI Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP), offering a unique Canadian immigration option to candidates in the federal Express Entry pool. The government of PEI had not been accepting new Expressions of Interest (EOIs) to this stream since late 2016. However, the PEI PNP is now once again accepting EOIs. [Read more…]
