Today's draw marks the 11th CEC draw of the year. This is also the fourth CEC draw in a row to feature a draw size of 1,000 ITAs, and a CRS cut-off score around 533 (all previous CEC draws in this series had a CRS score of 534).

Since August, IRCC has conducted one CEC draw every month. This draw marks the first time since August that IRCC has held two CEC draws in a single month (the previous of which was held on October 1).

Today's draw is the sixth of October, and follows a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) on October 27, a Healthcare and social services draw on October 15, and another PNP draw on October 14.

Thus far, IRCC has issued 74,485 ITAs through the Express Entry system in 2025.
